Areas of responsibility will include: Leading the creation and implementation of the department’s updated strategic plan; Supporting the County Administrative Office in the creation of the updated countywide strategic plan; Working with leadership and staff to determine department and division priorities and goals; Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators and measures; Leading a review and update of key business processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness; Providing strategic oversight of organizational health, employee engagement, and equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. As public servants, we work diligently towards the goals and visions of the community, the county, our department, and its five divisions: Planning and Development Services; Capital Project Services; Engineering, Traffic, and Survey; Operations and Maintenance; and Administrative Services.
