Beyond Property Management
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required. Ability to work overtime when needed.
Must have a minimum of 2-years experience at the Staff Accountant or Property Accountant level or Property Management Bookkeeping
Candidates must have proficiency in Word &Excel, strong written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail with emphasis on quality and accuracy.
Knowledge of Property Management software or other accounting software -AppFolio experience is a huge plus.
ACCOUNTING DATA AND SYSTEMS: Prepare, reconcile, and verify accounting information to contribute to accuracy and timeliness of the company’s financials.
Monthly preparation of financial statements, supporting documentation, detail general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliations and other supporting schedules/reconciliations.
Prepares and records journal entries and manages quality of journal entry backup.
Analytically reviews the balance sheet and income statement monthly to ensure accuracy. Provides variances, as applicable.
Scrubs GL regularly to correct inconsistences
Reviews and approves invoices to ensure coding accuracy and/or answers and guides support staff to resources.
Responsible for the monitoring of various reconciliation and balances using multi-general ledgers.
Assist with preparation of year end audit schedules.
Prepare annual budgets and monitor monthly performance
Prepare and analyze monthly operating variances.
FTB Withholding preparation and quarterly filing
Sorts and opens mail.
DEPARTMENT SUPPORT: Perform and complete accounting tasks or projects to support the managers of your portfolio.
Works in conjunction with operations/management to enter, review, and close accounting. Creates and reviews various property reports to ensure such reports are clean and accurate.
Provides primary support for employees on any accounting related questions and other matters.
Assist in training and answering questions for employees on payroll and other accounting related matters when appropriate.
Act to promptly resolve problems or questions; provide timely updates and feedback on status.
TEAM WORK: Builds and maintains ongoing internal relationships; willingly assisting other team members and focusing on team goals in order to help the company achieve its overall goals.

Salary Position $28 to $32 per hour depending on experience
2 Weeks of Personal Time Off and 7 Paid Holidays Annually
Per-Pay- Check Bonus of $250
