Yaya Mas Greek Kuzina is one of Chicago's fastest-growing Greek restaurants 1,100+ five-star reviews since opening, and two new locations coming in 2026 (Logan Square and River North). We're hiring an Assistant General Manager to run the floor day-to-day at our Lincoln Park flagship and grow into a General Manager role as we expand.
This is a real career step, not a job. The person we hire will be first in line to run one of the new locations.
**Who we're looking for**
Someone calm under pressure. Reliable. The kind of operator who walks in, sees what needs to happen, and handles it without needing to be asked twice. You take ownership of the building when the owner isn't in it.
**What you'll own**
- Daily FOH and BOH operations
- Scheduling, labor management, and staff accountability
- Inventory counts, ordering, and basic cost control
- Guest experience and service standards
- Training new hires and developing the team
- Reporting directly to ownership on what's working and what isn't
**What we're looking for**
- 4+ years in full-service restaurants
- 1 2 years as an AGM, FOH Manager, or strong shift lead at a higher-volume spot
- Comfortable managing both FOH and BOH
- Experience with late-night service is a plus
- Stable work history at least one role held 2+ years
- Calm communicator. Solves problems, doesn't create them.
