The School District of Amery is hiring a full-time "Academic & Behavior Support Paraeducator" for Amery Intermediate School.
This paraeducator will supervise students in the Stop and Think Room, provide small-group academic interventions through the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, and may assist with one to two recess supervision assignments each day.
While assigned to the Stop and Think Room, the paraeducator will document behavior referrals and communicate regularly with teachers and staff to ensure accurate and timely information is available to support student behavioral needs. In the academic support role, the paraeducator will work with small groups of students to provide targeted reading and mathematics interventions using district-approved curriculum resources.
Maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to all privacy requirements is an essential responsibility of this position.
