Overview:
Belcan is currently seeking an Account Director, Aerospace Strategic Accounts. This is a full-time, direct job with full benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in engineering, business or other related field from an accredited institution and 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing current and new business within the commercial aviation industry, including but not limited to:

1. Generation of sales opportunities
2. Sales pipeline management
3. Leading sales campaigns and capture planning to identify new opportunities
4. Building cross-functional capture teams to drive opportunities to closure
5. Operational and project oversight
6. Overall accountability for all account activities

Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to quickly build rapport with both internal teams and external customers across multiple engineering and business disciplines and at every level up to senior executive leadership.

Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or other related field from an accredited institution
* 8 years of experience in the Aerospace industry with an emphasis on commercial aerospace
* 5+ years of experience in sales and/or account management, including business development, sales pipeline management, CRM processes and tools, and proposal development
* Demonstrated track record of success in revenue and business growth
* Experience with strategic planning and execution
* Proposal Development Experience
* Strong leadership, teamwork, and oral/written communication skills
* Excellent presentation and organization skills
* Ability to travel to customer sites (approximately up to 25%)
* U.S. Citizenship

Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of commercial aerospace engineering processes and practices
* Experience in commercial aerospace manufacturing and operation through multiple tiers of suppliers
* Familiarity with financial reporting and associated statements

Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Benefits offered may include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and paid leave required by law. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $150,000 to $170,000. Guidelines vary based on many factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market and business considerations.
