We’re looking for quota-crushing Account Executives to help us bring the next generation B2C messaging platform to the world’s best companies. MessageGears enables the world’s top brands to send dynamic, high-volume marketing messages with speed and precision by providing a platform that overcomes the inherent limitations of marketing cloud email systems.   • Understand an account’s needs and effectively communicate how MessageGears will meet and exceed those needs.
  • Self-generate discovery meetings with ideal customer profiles (ICPs)
  • Self-generate 25% of your own pipeline
  • Manage opportunities generated by our sales development team or by our marketing team
  • Drive deals through a full-cycle sales funnel from qualifying to close
  • Achieve 4x fully ramped quota as gross pipeline on or before your six-month anniversary
  • Take initiative to improve the team’s practices, tools, and content
  • Contribute to the growth of the team: interview, hire, and train new reps
  • Work collaboratively across sales, marketing, customer success, product, and engineering


  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of on-quota performance selling high ACV B2B SaaS or Enterprise Software
  • Experience selling software or consulting engagements for Oracle Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud / ExactTarget, IBM Marketing Cloud / SilverPop, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce Pardot or other B2C or B2B email marketing / marketing automation platforms
  • Proven success calling on VP and C-level and developing Executive sponsorships
  • Experience with some branded sales methodology (TAS, Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN, etc.) desired
  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed, high growth entrepreneurial environment. Start-up experience valuable
  • Experience using a CRM software solution such as Salesforce
  • Experience using a Sales Development software solution such as or SalesLoft
  • Prominent organization and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
  • Should be honest, assertive and systematic
