The iconic Washington Hilton is seeking a full-time Analyst/Accounting Clerk to join their Finance team! This 1107-room property is within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with The White House and National Mall less than two miles away!

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

  • Attending staff meetings pertinent to work assignments
  • Answering guest service calls, contacting guests via telephone, completing telephone request forms and sending correspondence/folios to guests (e-mail, facsimile, mail, etc.)
  • Researching and responding to information requests from internal departments and management
  • Performing applicable retained Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions
  • Responding to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability
  • Participating in the production of monthly accounts as directed
  • Preparing and completing month-end responsibilities, including, but not limited to, preparing reports and setting up late bills
  • Executing internal control over revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel
  • Participating in special projects, team training and development
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
  • Reporting results to others and aiding others to understand financial matters
  • Developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support
