Accounts Payable Coordinator

Vaco is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with experience using SAP to join our growing team and ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile invoices in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
- Manage vendor setup and maintain updated records, including W-9s and banking information
- Conduct 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and resolve discrepancies with vendors
- Process ACH, wire transfers, and check payments while adhering to company policies
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly accounts payable reports
- Assist in month-end and year-end closings, including accruals and journal entries
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and ensure compliance with internal controls
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in SAP and strong knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
