Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist

About the Company & Opportunity
- My client is a well-established real estate firm conveniently located in Midtown, Manhattan near multiple forms of public transportation
- Real estate experience a plus, but not required! A great role for someone with accounting skills looking to break into the industry
- Hybrid schedule with opportunity to make your own hours! 3X a week in office, 2X remote
- Firm is in high growth mode and continuing to grow / promote from within!
- Management truly cares about staff, open door policy, questions and ideas encouraged!
- Equipment provided for remote work
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable responsibilities including posting of cash receipts and assisting in collection efforts when needed (60%)
- Assist with invoicing, ensuring all payment terms are consistent with agreements and contracts (10%)
- Accounts Payable – handle approximately 100 invoices per week via Yardi (30%)
Experience Preferred:
- Accounts receivable experience within commercial/retail real estate is a must for this position
- Yardi/MRI experience a plus
- Basic skills via Microsoft Excel
