General Internal Medicine - WE ARE EXPANDING OUR TEAM

The Ohio State University College of Medicine is seeking board-certified/eligible General Internists, Internal Medicine/Pediatric trained physicians, and a board-certified/eligible Geriatrician to join our team as faculty in our ambulatory sites located throughout the Columbus area.

A little about our General Internists and Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physicians:

Recognized for providing personalized comprehensive patient care, innovative educational opportunities for students and residents and a developing research environment, our aim is to develop long-term healing relationships with patients and help them navigate their care within a complex medical system. The Division is leading efforts for the medical centers Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) and Million Hearts programs while also leading innovative services in Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Transitional Care for Young Adults and various other research collaborations.

Interested candidates will be expected to work in an outpatient setting (opportunity for inpatient time, if interested) and demonstrate outstanding clinical care concurrent with teaching. All faculty will have an appointment in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine at the assistant or associate professor level.  All academic appointments are commensurate with experience. *Physicians will have privileges at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, University Hospital East, The James Cancer Center and Solove Research Institute, Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital.

A little about our Geriatric program:

Nationally recognized for clinical excellence in Geriatric clinical care, we are actively seeking highly qualified candidates for a Clinician Educator position who have the opportunity to work in outpatient, inpatient/consultation and skilled nursing facility settings.  Ideal candidates will excel in clinical care as well as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities exist for career development in leadership and educational scholarship.

Requirements: MD or DO; Completion of Internal Medicine Residency from ACGME accredited program; Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Geriatric Medicine.

Preferred Qualifications: Completion of a Geriatrics Fellowship from ACGME accredited program.
