The Adjunct in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology provides quality instruction, supporting student learning and engagement in courses such as mechanisms, drives, motors, control logic, PLCs, vacuum systems, and mechatronics. Responsibilities include teaching scheduled courses, designing appropriate activities, monitoring student progress, using technology effectively, maintaining accurate records, and participating in departmental meetings. They foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment, advise students on academic and career pathways, and refer them to support services. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant work experience. Preference is given to candidates available for evening and weekend teaching. Compensation is $55.88 per contact hour, with a maximum of 12 hours per week, part-time position.
