We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to facilitate student learning in the Agriculture program at the Service Motor Company Agriculture Center, working 8.75 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and employing diverse instructional strategies across multiple delivery methods to engage students.
- Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and using data to improve outcomes.
- Managing classroom environment, maintaining records, and ensuring safety.
- Participating in team activities, engaging with the community, and supporting student success.
- Continuously updating professional knowledge, developing curriculum, and maintaining compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher, with 4,000+ hours of recent occupational experience.
- Knowledge of ag-tech and related tools preferred; prior teaching experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, proficiency with learning management systems, and strong communication skills.
Physical activity includes standing, lifting, bending, and travel. The role is primarily in-person, outdoors, and flexible to college needs. Compensation is $45/hour. This position offers ongoing opportunities and flexible schedules, including day, evening, and weekend classes.
