We do KYC, pull bank information. Initiatives/Projects: Tax season administrative help Industry background: Financial, Banking, Accounting, Tax Support Experience a big plus Team Dynamic: 2 FTE Tax Analysts, Hiring Manager, will be hiring a total of 3 contractors Roles and Responsibilities: This contractor will be coming in to help with tax season volume. The team has an inbox where external accounting firms located throughout the United States are submitting annual tax return and financial statements to them. They submit the drafts; we process those emails and save all the documents to our network by giving them appropriate file names. From there, we post and log them into a database and put them into an upload folder and then post them to a portal so our other accounting firms can be able to pull what the need.
Contractor will be assisting with the above process
Managing mailbox
Processing documents and saving them to the database network with appropriate file names
Posting to the SharePoint site
Processing approvals and updating the database
High Volume, highly detailed work, e-mail heavy
Review approved tax returns, communicating to accounting firm they can file tax returns
Requesting copies of tax returns
Tracking, logging, portal management
Will follow deadlines and coordinate with accounting firms on any updates, delays, request documents or timelines for completion.
Contractor does not need to be a tax expert
There will be a week of training to get them up to speed

Performs diverse, tactical, and confidential administrative support functions. Provides administrative support by using supplied office equipment and/or software. Preparing routine letters and memoranda for the supervisor\'s review; scheduling appointments; coordinating meetings and travel arrangements. Prepares required/requested reports by gathering and summarizing data using office equipment and software to manipulate the data, producing graphics and spreadsheets, as required.
