The Administrative Services Assistant provides routine to moderate administrative support to relieve an executive of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the executive's office and government agencies, community groups, and the public, attending meetings and events, and handling complaints and requests.
Additional duties involve assigning, training, supervising, and evaluating clerical staff, managing routine correspondence, preparing speeches and meeting materials, and taking minutes.
They also coordinate travel, manage expense accounts, order supplies, and operate office equipment.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of office experience.
