This full-time administrative role supports the Chair, faculty, and staff of the School of Engineering, providing essential secretarial and office management tasks.
Responsibilities include assisting students with schedules and advising, managing syllabi revisions and online uploads, handling faculty hiring forms, coordinating communication and materials, maintaining office supplies, processing purchase orders, managing room reservations, reconciling budgets, preparing reports, and supporting department events like the Hooding Ceremony.
Qualifications required are a high school diploma or GED, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent keyboarding skills, and preferably one year of secretarial or two years of clerical experience. The role demands confidentiality, resourcefulness, the ability to manage projects independently, and strong communication skills, including composing correspondence and taking minutes.
