The Administrative Assistant supports transportation and sales. This position is responsible for coordinating customer and raw material deliveries, order processing, sales support, and other administrative functions.     

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates Customer and Raw Material Deliveries which includes managing the Customer Portal interface
  • Coordinates raw material transportation to and from the second warehouse
  • Order processing
  • Process and support month-end reporting and inventory cycle counting
  • Support Sales with sample requests, price books, quotes, deduction assistance, and customer audit documentation
  • Support the Product Manager with trial plans and documentation
  • Provide production support by submitting equipment purchase orders and maintenance schedules
  • Complete, route, and track purchase orders
  • Manage MSDS and Quality manuals and Customer Certificates of Analysis  

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • 2 years experience in a manufacturing office environment, preferred
  • Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AXAPTA, preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic computer knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Data entry experience needed
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented

  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Multi-tasking
  • Customer service focus; handle customer requests, interact in pressure situations 
  • Ability to work Overtime as required
