The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting hospital or clinic operations through various administrative tasks and project implementation.
Responsibilities include assisting with personnel and labor relations, compiling and interpreting data related to different components of the clinic, preparing reports, and reviewing reports for accuracy.
They manage payroll functions, review CPT coding with physicians concerning charges and collections, and assist with tasks related to supplemental staffing and contract labor programs.
Additional duties involve performing special projects, interpreting program data, and supporting other assigned tasks.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or an associate degree with two years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, or a high school diploma/GED with at least five years of relevant experience. Prior payroll experience is required; staffing experience is preferred.
