Overview The Analyst VIII, Product Support assists the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Project Office (PO) and PEO AVN Enterprise, which is essential for performance of the materiel developer's mission to support the war fighter. The UAS PO is tasked with developing, testing, fielding and maintaining the UAS Fleet to include a family of Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (SUAS), Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (FTUAS), Gray Eagle, One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT), Launched Effects (LE), and Uncrewed Vehicle Control (UVC). Responsibilities *
• Develop, implement, and maintain current comprehensive product support strategies for the UAS system.

• Use appropriate predictive analyses and modeling tools to develop COAs for the Government consideration of ways to improve material availability and reliability, increase operational availability rates, and reduce operation and sustainment costs.
*
• Conduct appropriate cost analyses to validate and update product support strategies, including cost-benefit analyses.
*
• Develop and implement appropriate product support arrangements to facilitate achieving desired product support outcomes.
*
• Analyze and assess logistics information required to adjust performance requirements and resource allocations across product support integrators and product support providers, as necessary, to optimize implementation of UAS product support strategies.
*
• Analyze and assess product support arrangements to support the Government in validating arrangements as consistent with UAS product support strategies.
*
• Execute Business Case Analyses (BCA) in support of UAS product support strategies. provide support to the Government in validating existing BCAs in support of UAS product support strategies.
*
• Analyze and assess materiel system requirements and translate requirements into discrete engineering and logistics support documentation.
*
• Develop, implement, and maintain current required logistics related statutory and regulatory required program documentation, to include but not limited to LCSP, Core Logistics Determination Estimate, Core Logistics and Sustainment Workloads Estimate, Independent Logistics Assessment, Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plan, Preservation and Storage of Unique Tooling Plan, and Replaced System Sustainment Plan.

• Review and provide input to UAS program documentation, including but not limited to the Acquisition Strategy, Capability Development Document, Capability Production Document, Cost Analysis Requirements Description, Independent Cost Estimate, Program Protection Plan, Systems Engineering Plan, and Test and Evaluation Master Plan.

• Provide support in the development of acquisition related documentation, to include but not limited to Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Data Item Description (DID), work breakdown structures, Integrated Master Schedules, and lifecycle cost estimates, as it relates to the acquisition of IPS requirements.
*
• Provide support in the development, implementation, and maintain current required logistics related statutory and regulatory requirements for modernized crypto equipment.
*
• Support the monitoring of the performance and progress of the UAS Program of Record (PoR) by participating in meetings and program reviews. With proper approval from the Contracting Officer, assist with the evaluation of contractor proposals.

• Participate in validation and verification of assigned technical publications for the UAS system.
*
• Participate in technical publication validation and verification, design reviews, logistics demonstration, and test efforts.
*
• Participate in support equipment related activities including but not limited to Support Equipment Requirements Document (SERD) reviews, design reviews, validation and verification efforts, logistics demonstrations, and test.
*
• Assess and monthly validate EVM data integrity using best practices and tools.
*
• Provide acquisition support. This includes supporting preparation and review of program baselines; developing purchase requests and documents required for solicitations and other contract documents; preparing supporting documentation, such as, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Technical Data Packages, Production Plans, System Improvement Plans, and Transition Plans; and identifying cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs during product development.

• Develop, draft, provide, and update documentation for acquisition programs to include all documentation required for program milestone events (MDD, MS-A, MS-B, MS-C, TC/FMR, FRP, etc.).

• Communicate, coordinate, collaborate, and liaise with the user representative, other PEOs, PEO AVN Enterprise, ASA (ALT), and other HQDA and Joint elements, to execute the supported program.
*
• Participate in IPTs and coordinate planning and execution of product related events, reviews, documentation, and demonstrations.
*
• Provide input, recommendations, and preparation in draft format of comprehensive plans and documents IAW FAR, DFARS, and Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS).
*
• Manage, analyze, and report funding and programmatic data utilizing the Project Management Resource Tool (PMRT) suite of applications to include CCAR and other databases and analytical tools, such as ADVANA and Power BI. Qualifications Required: *
• A bachelor's Degree in Program Management, Project Management, Business Management, Economics, or related discipline

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), or possess a Level III Program Management Certification from the Defense Acquisition University.
*
• Minimum of 8 years of task related experience
