The Company is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to process vendor invoices timely and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices; review invoices for compliance with company purchasing and cash disbursement policies and procedures; notify management of any deviations found
- Process payment of approved invoices including coding, entering into Accounts Payable module, posting entries, and matching checks with vouchers for management approval
- Handle vendor payment inquires as required
- Reconcile open accounts payable with the general ledger and other accounts as directed by management
- Audit AP utility spreadsheet to ensure utility bills that are no longer required are not being paid
- Prepare accruals on expenses incurred but not paid for monthly account close
- Administrative functions such as filing and mailing checks
Qualifications:
- Must have minimum of 3 years AP experience.
- Familiarity with computerized accounts payable software; experience using Microsoft Excel
- Able to maintain reasonable adherence to work schedule provided by supervisor (no excessive tardiness or absences) even if minor flexibility in schedule is required
- Able to adapt readily in a changing environment while maintaining professional demeanor at all times
- Experience working in an office environment
- Display a customer service orientation
- Highly detailed; able to follow and adhere to direction and apply that direction to work activities
- High school diploma or equivalent
