Description:
Are you an experienced inspector looking for an opportunity to work on a variety of unique and challenging projects? We are seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Nondestructive Testing Technician (NDT) to join our team. You’ll be inspecting and testing pressure vessels, storage tanks, process piping, and structural steel, working in both the field and the office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections and Process Safety Management (PSM) evaluations using API standards (API 510, 653, and 570).
- Perform fabrication shop and field inspections for welded and bolted structural steel.
- Utilize NDT techniques, including MT, PT, UTT, UTS, Phased Array UT, and MFE.
- Write technical reports and complete code calculations based on inspections performed.
- Manage multiple projects, balancing time between fieldwork and report preparation.
- Maintain positive client relationships and promote our expertise to new clients.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 3+ years of inspection experience in vessel, tank, piping, or structural steel industries.
- Certifications: API 510, 653, or 570 certification, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months; AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
- NDT Skills: NDT certifications or the ability to qualify for NDT Level II in UT, MT, PT, and MFE.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, such as AWS, API, ASME, NACE, and ANSI.
- Field Ready: Comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and construction site environments. Ability to operate JLGs and scissor lifts is a plus.
