We seek PhD-level Applied Physicists for a fully remote, flexible contract role focused on testing and improving AI models' understanding of fundamental physics principles.
In this role, you will design complex physics problems requiring multi-step reasoning, author precise solutions, evaluate AI-generated proofs for physical consistency, and provide expert feedback to refine AI reasoning around laws like conservation and boundary conditions.
Ideal candidates have a PhD or near in Applied Physics or related fields, mastery of classical and quantum mechanics, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Prior AI experience isn't needed, but familiarity with computational tools and scientific datasets is a plus.
