We ask questions to truly understand the core of a matter.Petes PromiseService ForwardRuthlessly ConsistentDo the Right ThingNothing in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Provides instruction provide specific and corrective feedback to each client at each sessionDesign and deliver effective and rewarding sessions and workoutsProvide swim evaluations to help parents decide which program is best for their child and client retentionMaintain accurate current records on all clients progress follow progression guidelinesEnforce all pool rules and aquatics center and club policiesMaintain a consistent work schedule arrive punctually for sessionsProvide excellent communication with the parents of swimmers as well as all members and staffTrack attendance of clients sessionsAccurately enter and maintain consistent timely records in the required systems for hours worked and sessionsActively participate in events programs meetings and training including in-service trainingAssist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics centerRepresent the club in a professional manner through image dress communication and immediate follow through and responseCorporate Goals & ObjectivesPromote the companys safety goals and actively work towards ensuring a safe working environment.Comply with company policies and procedures.Actively further corporate objectives and continuously support improvement and positive change which includes participating on corporate designated committees to improve the company and business operations.Make professional development a consistent priority. Assist with special club projects events and promotionsPRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS-LIFEGUARD IF APPLICABLE Supervise the activities of swimmers by consistently enforcing rules and regulationsNotify swimmers of improper activities or hazardsRescue persons in distress or in danger of drowning when indicated and provide rescue breathing CPR and First AidNotify Aquatics Director of any accidents rescues or problemsReport to the Aquatic Director any equipment that is in need of repairAnswer inquiries pertaining to the use of the pool and Aquatics services offeredDirect all helpful suggestions from participants and others to Aquatic Director or Club ManagementAttend all staff meetings and trainings.Available to work weekdays weekends and holidays as needed as hours are not guaranteed and can change at any timeBe on time for your shift and for rotations throughout the day. Be ready to work which includes being dressed in uniform sunscreen applied and wearing your Rescue Tubes and First Aid pack each day return to the Lifeguard office at the end of the day. Check your pack for its proper contents daily at the start of the shiftHelp keep pool deck clean safe and organizedAttend all staff meetings and trainingsFollow all safety procedures and precautionsGive high quality of Customer ServiceThis includes giving full attention to the poolswimmers while in the guard chair. Do not have a conversation if a member needs assistance please refer himher to the Head Lifeguard or to the Service Desk.
