SUMMARY:
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The
Armed Security Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.
Our highly sought after Armed Security officer positions include full training. MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Standard computer / technology skills needed.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Active PILB card and a valid drivers license required.
- Prior familiarity handling firearms required.
- Prior experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, and or Private Contractor work required.
All candidates must be willing to participate in our background check process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the clients premises.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
