Job Overview
The Assembler is responsible for the disassembly, assembly, and testing of various drilling equipment. This role requires a mechanically adept individual capable of working independently to meet production, quality, and safety standards in a heavy industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly and Technical Tasks: Assemble and test drilling equipment; drill/tap holes and clean/deburr materials.
Documentation: Read and comprehend blueprints; use SAP R3 to pull prints and check labor hours/bills of material.
Safety and Quality: Follow all HSE and Quality processes to ensure no damage to equipment or personnel.
Operations: Assist in rigging when necessary; perform manual tasks with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 1 years of experience specifically with drilling equipment.
Technical Skills: Must be mechanically adept with the ability to read blueprints and operate hand tools.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding, and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
Environment: Ability to work in varied conditions (indoor/outdoor, heat/cold, elevated heights, and loud noise).
Certifications: Fall protection, overhead crane, and forklift certifications (industry-recognized) are required.
Logistics: Must have a valid driver's license and steel-toed lace-up boots.
Schedule and Location
Shift: Must be available for weekends and holidays as workloads require.
