As an Assembler & Service Technician for Secondary Packaging Systems, you will serve as a technical representative both in-house and at customer sites, handling machine assembly, testing, installation, commissioning, training, and after-sales support.
Responsibilities include performing on-site machine installation, troubleshooting, and customer training, ensuring project timelines and customer satisfaction. You will support remote technical assistance, participate in shipping and fabrication, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Travel is approximately 50% annually, up to two weeks per month, with occasional longer assignments for complex projects. In-house tasks involve interpreting drawings, assembling machinery, performing system integration, documenting test results, and supporting machine preparation and shipping.
Collaboration with engineering, project management, and customer care teams is essential for successful field service and process improvements. The role requires flexibility, strong technical skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
