Performs both basic and complex electronic/electro-mechanical assembly on prototype and production hardware in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
Assists in developing wiring, assembly methods, and wire lists, utilizing hand and power tools for fitting and adjustments.
Reads and interprets wiring lists and drawings, conducts rework from test failures, and operates automated assembly equipment as needed.
May serve as a team leader, providing training and evaluating staff performance.
- Utilizes blueprints, measurements, and tools to accurately position, drill, assemble, and fasten components.
- Inspects and tests assembled units for quality, fit, and performance.
- Completes training, documentation, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Requires minimal experience, high school diploma, and skills like attention to detail, blueprint reading, and basic math.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand long periods, and use fine motor skills.
