This position involves assembling refrigeration system components, installing parts into units, and ensuring quality standards.
Responsibilities include reading instructions and drawings, wiring, soldering, crimping, and testing assemblies, as well as operating equipment like spot-welders and punch machines. Candidates will install metal components, refrigerant lines, valves, and perform system testing and repairs.
Additional duties include cleaning, inspecting, packaging, and documenting units for shipping, assisting with crating, and collaborating with coworkers.
Qualifications require mechanical aptitude, tool proficiency, ability to follow instructions, and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Physical demands include lifting over 35 pounds, standing, bending, and working in variable temperatures with safety precautions.
