Our client is currently seeking a qualified Asset Lab Technician to join their team onsite in Wheeling, IL and provide end-user support. This technician will work the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.


Duties and Responsibilities:


+ Packing and shipping

+ Prepare and pack devices for new hire classes

+ Generate shipping labels via FedEx and update tracking information in ServiceNow

+ Include required accessories and documentation in each shipment

+ Ensure timely delivery by selecting appropriate shipping methods

+ Cleaning and inventory management

+ Clean devices using approved materials and techniques

+ Record device status and location in SharePoint inventory

+ Organize and store devices on designated shelving units

+ Device diagnostics and assessment

+ Identify physical damage or excessive filth and categorize devices for repair or disposal

+ Document diagnostic results and update inventory systems accordingly


Tools & Systems Used:


+ FedEx shipping platform

+ ServiceNow

+ SharePoint

+ Diagnostic tools for Dell, HP, and MacBook

+ Cleaning and packing supplies


Wage Range :

The rate for this position is between $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
