The Assistant Controller supports the CFO and Controller by managing accounting procedures, ensuring deadlines are met, and assisting with financial processes such as month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting. The role involves conducting financial analysis, advising on operations, participating in SOX audits, reviewing internal controls, and supporting reporting and budgeting activities.
Qualifications include 3-5 years of hospital or business accounting experience, preferably supervisory, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA is desirable. The position requires a commitment to compliance, service excellence, and diversity.
