Scottsboro, our center is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support our Director of Nursing in leading our nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department, implementing clinical best practices, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Director of Nursing in providing leadership and direction to nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. Assisting in the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote patient safety. Collaborating with the Director of Nursing in overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members. Participating in monitoring patient outcomes and quality indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhancing patient care delivery. Providing support and guidance to nursing staff to foster professional growth and development. Assisting in coordinating interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and optimize health outcomes. Assisting in ensuring adequate staffing levels and managing nursing schedules to meet patient care needs effectively. Supporting the Director of Nursing in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staff training initiatives to maintain a skilled and competent nursing team. Serving as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, residents, and families to facilitate communication and address concerns effectively.
