Job Description:

TheUndergraduate Admissions Officeseeks a full-time Assistant Director of Transfer Admissionsto play a key role in supporting the institution's undergraduate transfer enrollment goals. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee, manage, and implement a smooth admissions process for prospective transfer students using the institution's CRM (Slate) through the full enrollment cycle Including transfer recruitment, marketing, communication and application review. In addition, this position will be responsible for traditional admissions counselor duties including participation in college fairs and high school visits. The primary location for this position will be Utica, but travel to other operating locations may be required. Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
  • The ability to manage a variety of projects and responsibilities.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills
  • Previous University admissions experience or related experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
  • Experience working with a CRM system (preferably Slate)
  • Experience writing and producing electronic communications for marketing purposes, including email marketing.
