Key Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field.
- Prefer one (1) or more years? experience in health care administration, or a combination of experience, education and training which would provide knowledge required by this position.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.

Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Licensed Administrator, the Assistant Administrator is responsible to direct the day-to-day functions of assigned sectors in the VA facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to residents at all times.
