The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations, supporting the General Manager to ensure a productive, profitable, and safe environment while delivering exceptional Guest service.
- Assists in managing financial performance, including controlling P&L and analyzing results to meet or exceed goals.
- Builds community presence by understanding local trends and participating in local organizations.
- Ensures high-quality food, safety, and sanitation standards; manages inventory and vendor relations.
- Leads and coaches Team Members in operational procedures, performance management, and adherence to policies.
- Handles staffing, scheduling, training, and resolving Team Member conflicts to maintain a motivated team.
- Engages with Guests to resolve complaints and create a positive atmosphere.
- Monitors restaurant environment, manages safety protocols, and maintains operational consistency.
- Performs daily financial and operational paperwork, cash handling, and inventory control tasks.
- Supports personal development through ongoing training and professional growth.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum one year of restaurant or retail experience, strong communication and math skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
