Responsible for developing algorithms, scientific software and machine learning (ML) workflows for large-scale image reconstruction, visualization and data abstraction of x-ray ptychography, ptycho-tomo and laminography data, as well as related x-ray imaging and microscopy methods. Performs coherent imaging experiments and associated data analysis. Carries out simulations of coherent imaging experiments. Responsible for reporting relevant results in an appropriate form. Maintains cognizance of state of the art techniques and methods in the field.
+ Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience; Master’s and 3+ years; Doctorate and 0 years, or equivalent.
+ Experience in developing methods and software for image reconstruction related to ptychography, tomography and laminography.
+ Experience in experimental implementation of ptychography as well as simulation of ptychographic imaging.
+ Knowledge of x-ray physics, including x-ray diffraction, x-ray optics, x-ray detectors, scattering processes, etc.
+ Knowledge of x-ray microscopy instrumentation, .
+ Skill in programming languages such as Python, C/C++.
+ Experience with deep learning (DL) libraries such as Tensorflow, PyTorch etc.
+ Experience in applying ML to X-ray imaging data.
+ Experience in applying ptychographic 3D imaging to integrated circuits.
+ Experience with version control such as Git.
+ Skill in written and oral communications.
+ Experience interacting with scientific staff and research groups. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Ability to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
