The Associate Manager, Quality Engineering oversees all Quality Assurance operations at Davis-Monthan AFB for the Sky Raider II program.
Reporting to the Program QA Manager, they implement quality plans, supervise QA personnel, and ensure maintenance complies with manufacturer, FAA, and company standards.
Responsibilities include analyzing quality discrepancies, investigating issues, developing corrective actions, and interfacing with manufacturing, engineering, vendors, and customers.
They oversee safety, hazardous material, training, and environmental programs, conduct inspections, and ensure personnel meet training requirements.
Qualifications include a degree or extensive experience in aircraft maintenance, FAA A&P certification, and supervisory experience. Preferred skills include active security clearance, experience with specific aircraft, and prior QA leadership.
Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances, work flexible shifts, and travel OCONUS as needed.
