Our Galleria client – a leading full-service law firm with a reputation for excellence is adding an Associate Attorney to the Commercial Litigation team. This position will handle complex and high-stakes legal matters for clients across industries.
Position Overview:
Seeking a talented and driven Associate Attorney to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong legal background, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in business and real estate litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, research, and drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and memoranda of law.
- Conduct legal research on a variety of issues relevant to ongoing cases and provide clear, concise summaries to senior attorneys.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize case approaches and client solutions.
- Manage client relationships by providing timely and effective communication regarding case developments and legal advice.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and court proceedings as needed, under the supervision of senior attorneys.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and preparing trial exhibits.
- Participate in meetings with clients, opposing counsel, and experts, providing thoughtful analysis and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for case management and billing.
- Stay current on changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure comprehensive legal guidance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in [State(s) relevant to the firm's location].
- 2-4 years of legal experience in Business litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
