We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Permanent Audit Associate to join our vibrant Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will be a critical member of our organization, providing key support in maintaining financial health and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Audit Associate, you will be responsible for:

1. Conducting detailed audits of financial records and systems to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.

2. Identifying, researching, and resolving complex accounting issues and discrepancies.

3. Preparing and presenting audit findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

4. Assisting in the development and implementation of internal audit procedures and controls.

5. Collaborating with various departments to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial reporting.

6. Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.

7. Providing guidance and training to junior staff on audit procedures and best practices.

8. Staying updated on changes in financial regulations and standards, and ensuring these changes are reflected in company procedures.

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.

2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.

3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.

4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present audit findings and recommendations.

6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.

8. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.

9. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
