The Flight Operations Program Developer oversees complex flight operations for large turbine-powered aircraft fleets engaged in passenger and freight services.
Responsibilities include developing surveillance programs for pilots, check airmen, and training compliance with 14 CFR and FAA standards.
Acts as a technical advisor on training and testing programs, coordinating policies and procedures, and conducting enforcement investigations, including aircraft incidents and public inquiries.
Supervises flight tests, certifications, and proficiency evaluations, ensuring standardization and regulatory compliance.
Monitors training programs and approves manuals and training devices to enhance safety and effectiveness.
Participates in FAA flight programs, maintains qualification, and supports pilot examiner evaluations.
Performs other duties as assigned, including legal assistance, investigation, and oversight to ensure safe and compliant flight operations.
