E-logic is seeking a highly skilled, certified BAS Technician to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the government facility's continuous, 24/7/365 building automation framework. You will serve as the primary on-site expert supervising the Johnson Controls Metasys system and automated animal bedding/feed systems (DUCON) from National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences during core business hours (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday), while providing vital support for network engines, controller replacement, and emergency troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and maintain the Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System (BAS) and the DUCON distribution system
- Monitor and execute daily network engine uploads (NAE, NCE, NIE, SNE, etc.) and run specialized room environment reports.
- Modify and create graphical interfaces and automated system reports upon request.
- Conduct logic programming (LCT), database management, and trend analysis.
- Provide necessary 24/7/365 emergency technical response on-site within 2 hours of notification when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proof of an active Johnson Controls (or OEM) Metasys Certification is strictly required.
- Must possess verified access to the JCI Field Services Center (FSC) for advanced escalation tier-support.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working directly with JCI equipment.
- Proof of successful completion of OSHA 10-hour training (General Industry or Construction outreach card issued within the last 5 years).
- Flexible to handle rotating emergency calls or occasional after-hours shifts.
