At the direction of the camp director(s), provide instruction, demonstration and teaching the sport's dynamics to campers. Provide supervision of campers during all activities and free times.
Job Duties
- Provides instruction, demonstrations and teaches thesport's dynamics to campers.
- Provides supervision of campers during all activities and free times.
- Communicates with parents, First Aiders, Director of Sports Medicine, and coaches regarding all sessions, injuries and missed sessions for campers.
- Abides by NCAA Division III Basketball rules and regulations.
- Remains "on-call" for student-athletes needs 24/7, nights and weekends. Requires extensive travel and time during the regular season and during the recruiting season.
- Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies.
- Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education
Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
Required:
1 month to 6 months.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required:
Played or coached a minimum of 1 year.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Skill in providing instruction to a diverse group of individuals.
