Chase Staffing is hiring for an Beamline Welding Machine Operator in the Adairsville, GA area.


Set up, programmed, and operated robotic welding cells to produce high-quality beam components. Ensured precision and consistency by interpreting blueprints, monitoring weld integrity, and performing routine maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loaded and unloaded beams, positioning parts using jigs and fixtures for accurate welding
  • Operated and monitored robotic welding systems, ensuring proper alignment and performance
  • Assisted with programming and adjusting weld parameters (voltage, speed, patterns) per specifications
  • Modified welding positions and robot functions with supervisor approval
  • Maintained knowledge of TCP (Torch Control Programming) and robotic positioning

Quality Control:

  • Inspected welds visually and with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, tape measures)
  • Utilized weld control cameras and inspection stations to verify weld quality
  • Removed weld spatter and ensured finished products met specifications and tolerances

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Performed routine maintenance including cleaning nozzles, replacing contact tips, and servicing gas components
  • Conducted minor repairs using spare parts (nozzles, tips, gas distributors)
  • Identified and resolved equipment issues to minimize downtime

Documentation & Systems:

  • Completed production logs, downtime reports, and quality documentation
  • Followed work instructions, blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols

Safety & Compliance:

  • Followed all safety procedures, including PPE and equipment protocols
  • Maintained clean, organized workstations and adhered to OSHA standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (vocational training preferred)
  • Experience with robotic welding, roll forming, or manufacturing environments
  • Basic MIG/TIG welding skills (certification a plus)
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Physically capable of lifting and standing for extended periods
