This position involves developing, implementing, and evaluating interventions and positive behavioral supports for students with special needs to promote social and academic success.
- Collaborates with school staff and administrators to execute behavior instruction, functional assessments, and behavior plans.
- Provides training and on-site support for staff and families in positive behavior support and applied behavior analysis.
- Conducts observations, assessments, and functional behavioral analyses to develop tailored behavior programs.
- Participates in team review meetings and monitors progress through data collection and analysis.
- Develops guidance for support personnel and delivers professional development on behavioral strategies.
- Maintains detailed program records, reports student progress, and stays current through research and professional growth activities.
Work is performed under supervision with considerable independence, with no regular supervisory duties over others.
