Seeking a Bridge Engineer in Charlotte, NC to perform advanced engineering design and development for moderate-sized projects.
This role involves independently creating bridge (steel and concrete) and culvert design deliverables, including plans, calculations, and specifications, with proficiency in AASHTO LRFD standards and Microstation.
Responsibilities include assisting with proposals, analyzing data, designing projects, ensuring quality control, and maintaining licensure.
Minimum qualifications: a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, NC PE license or ability to obtain, strong communication skills, and proficiency in design software.
Preferred qualifications include NCDOT design experience, phased construction knowledge, and familiarity with Bentley OpenBridge.
