Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with 5-10 years in bridge, culvert, and retaining wall design to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include planning, designing, and coordinating project phases, performing computations, preparing engineering documents, and ensuring design compliance with specifications.
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, have an engineer-in-training certification, and proficient in MS Office. Preferred qualifications include North Carolina PE license, bridge inspection experience, and familiarity with relevant software and NCDOT procedures.
Work primarily in an office setting with occasional fieldwork; lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.
