Responsibilities involve securing students in restraints, maintaining discipline, assisting during emergency evacuations, and providing route information to substitutes.
They help students with seating, buckling seat belts, carrying backpacks, and staying seated if needed.
The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, assist children loading/unloading, and repetitive movement on and off the bus.
Terms are nine months, with compensation based on the salary schedule, and evaluated annually.
This is a nonexempt position approved in 2019.
