Kforce is working with one of the largest super-regional insurers in the country in search of a Workday Business Analyst to join their team! They offer pension plans, strong 401K match, and they have excellent retention! This position is remote, but you must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CT, DE, FL, IL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WI. Remote position with the ability to travel to our NJ and NY locations up to 25% of the time. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems and Data Reporting Business Analyst, Workday to facilitate and gather requirements for new financial platform implementation and ongoing Data reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering requirements for financial system implementations and maintaining a comprehensive requirements backlog. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform business analysis activities working with key users in the implementation of new financial platform
  • Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and develop and review requirements working with Business and IT stakeholders
  • Collaborate on project efforts in the support of new and existing systems, processes, and services
  • Capture Business User Stories and Requirements in JIRA
  • Provide support and collaborate with technical team in documenting system capabilities, workflows and user experience
  • Create detailed Functional Designs for technical team members
  • Develop user documentation for newly created processes and system enhancements
  • Project timelines are communicated to the Project Managers and are completed on time
  • Uses logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
  • Configure and update system setting to meet the organization's evolving needs
  • Assist in implementing and integrating new platforms within GNY ecosystem
  • Assist in implementing and managing various testing methodologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in leading business analysis and requirements gathering for financial platforms like Oracle financials, Workday, Sage, Clarity
  • Minimum 4 years of Agile experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to solicit requirements
  • Experience with managing requirements for Data Lake and reporting needs
  • Experience with Jira for requirements and backlog management
  • Excellent Business Analysis skills
  • JIRA
  • Visio, Mural or any other visual work platform
  • Integration patterns to integrate ERP with other in-house and Cloud solutions
  • Experience in Insurance industry is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
