Business Analytics Specialist- Contractor

The main function is to leverage analytical tools to provide business and technical support for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit.

Job Responsibilities:
Analyze company functions, processes, and activities to improve business applications for the most effective use of resources.
Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
Analyze and process data, building and maintaining models and report templates to develop data-driven solutions.
Establish and document business processes.
Assist others on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.

Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor\'s degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources or relevant field required.
0-2 years related experience required.
