Business Development Associate – IT Solutions Sales

Location: Hybrid – 2 days in Park Ridge, IL, 3 days remote

Experience: 3-4 years

Salary: $65,000+ base + commission + bonus

Benefits: PTO + Holidays + Medical Insurance + 401K


About the Role:

Peterson Technology Partners (PTP), a 27-year IT staffing and services firm, is hiring a Business Development Associate to co-sell alongside our CMO, a seasoned C-level IT executive. You will engage directly with Fortune 500 and enterprise clients, driving new business and revenue growth in IT staffing and consulting services.


What You’ll Do:

Co-Sell with Leadership – Work alongside our CMO to develop and close high-value IT services deals.

Prospect & Expand Accounts – Identify, engage, and convert enterprise leads into long-term partnerships.

Own the Sales Cycle – From initial outreach to contract signing, drive revenue through strategic sales execution.

Develop Client Relationships – Build trusted partnerships with IT decision-makers and hiring leaders.

Leverage Pre-Qualified Accounts – Work with clients that already have MSAs, reducing sales barriers.


Who You Are:

Hunter Mindset – You thrive in outbound sales, love networking, and enjoy winning deals.

IT Sales Expertise – 4+ years of B2B sales in IT staffing, consulting, or technology solutions.

Proven Closer – Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.

Strong Communicator – Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage C-level clients.
