Join a highly respected, family-owned union masonry restoration firm with a legacy of over 40 years restoring some of New York City’s most iconic structures. Based in Union, NJ with projects across all five boroughs of NYC, this is an exciting opportunity to be the face of a company known for its stellar reputation and longstanding success. We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive to lead client acquisition efforts and drive new business in the bustling NY/NJ exterior restoration market.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Business Development Executive – Exterior Construction position include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in exterior construction-related business development REQUIRED (masonry, façade, or restoration preferred)
- Must pass a background check and be comfortable with union labor dynamics and NYC project compliance
- Ability to identify and pursue commercial, institutional, and municipal project leads in the NY/NJ area
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, developers, and public agencies
- Lead the response to RFPs and manage the entire bid process in collaboration with internal teams
- Represent the firm at industry events, pre-bid meetings, and networking functions
- Work closely with executive leadership to develop sales strategy and drive revenue growth
- Regular travel to client sites throughout NYC; office presence in Union, NJ expected when not in the field
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, with commission potential.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 75% company-paid medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan with safe harbor contribution, 10 PTO days to start (increasing to 15 after 2 years), and paid holidays.
