The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within targeted manufacturing and industrial segments. This role promotes the company s portfolio of products and solutions to expand market presence build strategic customer partnerships and deliver profitable revenue streams aligned with corporate objectives. The incumbent applies strong commercial and technical acumen to develop compelling business cases and value propositions that support sustainable growth and competitiveness. What will you do Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve new customer acquisition revenue and market share growth targets. Identify qualify and pursue high-potential opportunities through consultative and value-based selling approaches. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers establishing demand for products services and solutions. Collaborate with Commercial Technical and Supply Chain teams to develop proposals pricing strategies and value-driven solutions that meet customer and business needs. Lead commercial discussions proposals and negotiations to ensure profitable outcomes aligned with pricing and margin objectives. Manage the transition of newly acquired accounts to the Commercial team to ensure a smooth handover and sustained customer success. Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline forecast performance and report on key metrics to support informed decision-making. Monitor competitive landscape customer trends and market developments to identify new growth opportunities and innovation needs. Partner with internal stakeholders to support budget forecast and business review processes for business development initiatives. Uphold company policies and professional standards while demonstrating accountability for ongoing development and performance excellence. What are we looking for The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years&39 proven commercial track record in the metalworking industry. Preferably coming from lubricants grease coolants or any other similar industrial chemical market. Education Mechanical Metallurgic Chemical or relevant engineering degree is highly valued. Languages English at a professional level is a must. Local language skills are highly valued A dynamic professional with excellent communication and presentation skills to be able to build strong trust-based relationships with the key stakeholders.
